Friendship Seed

I believe friendships are like wild seeds,
You never know what what they'll grow to be.
I'll plant it when the time is right,
And water it every day and night.

Just like seeds, every friendship will grow,
Some might even blossom to be eternal.
I don't know, but in time we will see
What a beautiful friendship It'll be.

Promises

You said your Promises always come true,
And no matter what, I can always trust you.
But now it seems far from truth,
Is the problem me, I'm thinking that it's you.

I guess that I'll wait, I'll wait and see,
Were your words real, or just make-believe?
Will your Promises ever come true,
In the end, will it be me, or will it be you?

Never mind, because now my heart can see,
It'll never be you,  It'll always be me.
Unlike many things, I think and dream,
Your Promises will never be make-believe.

Inspiration

Inspiration can strike at any time,
So be sure to keep a pen nearby,
You never know what may pass your mind.
Even when it tries so hard to hide,
Look in your heart, and you will find,
That inspiration is always inside.

Not Much To Say

I really don't have much to say,
But I'll write another one anyway.
The little things always make me smile,
 Like the breeze that blows by once in a while.
Mother earth is my best friend,
I'll be in love with her 'till the very end.
 I really don't have much to say,
So come back and read another day.

Here's a little something I threw together, it's not the best it can be (yet). It's just an idea that's been in my head for a long while and I'm just writing it out now. So props to yourself if you can understand that idea as a whole, because I still need to add some lines to tie everything together.

The air smells like something new

Be Yourself

Please stop trying to be like everyone else,
You look confused, like you need some help.
 Never wear a mask, just to fit a certain part,
I can see right through it, it'll only bring us apart.

Jamaica

Jamaica is almost a paradise
All the beaches make it quite nice
My favorite part is the food
And perhaps all the drinks too
I can't wait to go to Jamaica again
Cause it's been too long, I'm overdued
And perhaps next time I'll bring a friend

Why do we always run in fear
From everything that's unfamiliar?
Why is it so natural for us to shun
Don't try to understand, we just run.

Starting back is always hard

It's those first word that comes along

That try to hide, deep down inside

So it's those first words, that I must find
